Purpose of the service
Warframe Fashion frame is a fan site for composing, sharing, and browsing appearance creations (skins) for the game Warframe.
The service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Digital Extremes. Warframe and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Published content and screenshots
When you share a skin, the associated screenshots must match your fashion as it appears in Warframe. Screenshots must not be modified by artificial intelligence. Editing the screenshot with photo-editing software remains allowed.
The administration team reserves the right to delete, without prior notice, any skin whose screenshots or content do not comply with these terms.
Twitch extension — loadout overlay
The Twitch Video Component extension displays the streamer's configured fashion loadout in the video overlay.
Fashion frame does not store any personal data when you view this extension as a viewer: no account creation and no Fashion frame cookie in the extension iframe.
The streamer's configuration (Warframe username, platform) is stored by Twitch through the extension Configuration Service, not as viewer account data on fashionframe.ninja.
Twitch extension — skin gallery panel
The Twitch Panel extension displays the streamer's public Warframe skin gallery below the video.
Fashion frame does not store any personal data when you view this extension as a viewer: no account creation and no Fashion frame cookie in the extension iframe.
The streamer's configuration (Fashion frame user identifier) is stored by Twitch through the extension Configuration Service, not as viewer account data on fashionframe.ninja.
Data collected
User account: username, e-mail address, password (stored only in hashed form, never in plain text), account creation date.
Authentication and session: JWT access token (approximately 15 minutes, kept in browser memory) and httpOnly "refreshToken" cookie with Secure attribute (approximately 7 days, transmitted over HTTPS only) to renew the session.
Published content: skin compositions (JSON), Warframe account identifier (Account ID), display name, uploaded images, thumbnail, likes, comments, and bookmarks, linked to your account when you are signed in.
Browser local storage (localStorage): • "warframe_account_id" — Account ID entered for profile search; • "wf_account_id" — Account ID used when sharing a skin; • "wf-fashion.color-association.favorites" — favorite colors from the color association tool.
Public Warframe data: the service may query public APIs (catalog, player profile) to display information you request or import; we do not resell this data.
Purposes and legal bases
We use your data to: • create and manage your account (performance of contract); • authenticate you and maintain your session (performance of contract); • publish and display your skins and social interactions (performance of contract); • remember your local preferences and ease data entry (legitimate interest — user convenience); • ensure service security and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
Recipients and hosting
Your data is processed by the site publisher and hosted by render.com.
We do not sell your personal data. No third-party advertising tools are integrated into the service.
Retention periods
User account: retained while the account is active; deleted on request or after prolonged inactivity.
Password reset tokens: approximately 24 hours.
Session cookie (refreshToken, Secure, HTTPS): approximately 7 days.
Images and published content: retained until the skin is deleted
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability regarding your personal data.
To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Account deletion and data export are not yet automated; we handle requests manually in V1.
Third-party Warframe data
Information from public Warframe APIs (profile, catalog) is displayed in response to your actions in the application. We do not resell this data and are not responsible for content provided by Digital Extremes or third-party players.
Changes to these terms
We may update this document. The version and last updated date appear at the top of the page. In case of a major change, a notice may be displayed on the site (later phase).
By creating an account after an update, you accept the version in effect.
